The Polish government has announced that it will build at its own expense, in consultation with the Ukrainian authorities, modular towns for people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war in Ukraine.

- Already 10 million people in Ukraine were forced to leave their homes, a quarter of which are in Poland. But let's not forget that 6 million refugees are housed in Ukraine itself, - said Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and noted that Poland will participate in the following initiatives of this kind: - We are doing everything to protect Ukrainian children and women. There will be more such towns, the prime minister added.

The Polish government plans to participate in the construction of residential for 20,000 people. We would also like to note that the first town at that time had already been opened in Lviv.
